Snake River Amateur Radio Club

Our Saturday night picnic. The participants, from left to right, Terri, KC5KKY, Steve, WB7VEQ, Bob, W7RLS, Nancy, KF5WQJ, Craig, KD5ODQ, Bill, KD7FDW, John, NO6Z, Mike, K7SKE, Deb, KE7TMF. There are others who weren't in the picture and to them I deeply appolize for not including them. Mike, KC5KKX and Terri, KC5KKY, traveled down for the afternoon and evening from Emett to join the fun. Thanks for showing up. One guest, Chris Sept, Deb's sister, was also there.

Bob, W7RLS, Steve, WB7VEQ, Nancy, KF5WQJ, and Craig, KD5ODQ, manning their radios. Notice the battery on the table. We were all battery powered and most of us had solar panels to keep them charged. The panels are shown below.

Mike, K7SKE, and Bill, KD7FDW, getting ready to work a satelllite. They made a contact at 4:45 AM Sunday morning. Our first. Good Job Mike and Bill.

John Higgins, NO6Z, takes a break from working the key. He made 16 CW contacts, not bad considering we were working on 5 watts or less and battery powered.

Mike, K7SKE, making a voice contact using Bob's (W7RLS) equipment,

Craig, KD5ODQ, working digital.

Nancy, KF5WQJ, learning how to use her equipment. She made several voice contacts during the weekend.
