Tech Day 2015

This year's Tech Day was held at the Nampa Fire Training Center, as always. And, as always we must thank the City of Nampa, and the Nampa Fire Dept. for allowing us to use their classrooms.

^^^ Lots of heavy thinking going on here. Oops...those doughnuts didn't last very long, did they?

^^^ Things like this are why it's called "Tech Day". Let's see... there's a robotics power supply...two radios...a multiport USB to D-Sub9 converter...a laptop...and lots of sugar and caffeine floating around. What's not to like?

^^^ What started out as a "solder-and-fix" session quickly developed into a "Help-me-get-my-laptop-to-talk-to-my-radio" session. This was complicated by the fact that there were three different versions of Windows being used, and one poor soul using Linux. Things deteriorated from there. Good practice for the upcoming "Digital Software Social" in April. The doughnuts are already running scared!
