For Field Day in 2017, we decided to visit the Rivers Edge RV Park and work from there. There are trees, close to the Snake River, and power for RV's and the Field Day tent. As usual, we used batteries and solar power for our radios and worked QRP. We had over 200 contacts and a claimed score of 2780 points. And we had lots of good food.

Setting up.  We used three pop up canopies with sides. It was all hands on deck to get set up so we could operate on Saturday and Sunday.

Allen, W7ADM, setting up his station. And the result of his set up. Simple but worked very well, especially on CW.

John, NO6Z, at his desk getting ready to make contacts.

Mike, KC5KKX, using the clubs radio. It worked fine until the battery died.

So he did the next best thing - borrowed a radio to make contacts. In this case he used John's, KD7HGS, radio.

Bill, KD7FDW, working his station.
